KYOCERA AVX expands its product offering with the new 9258-100 Series Spring Finger Board-to-Board Compression Contact that reduces size and cost without compromising performance. This new low profile compression contact from KYOCERA AVX is surface mounted to a PCB and provides a reliable compression connection to the mating board even under extreme shock (50G) and vibration (2.7G random) applications. With over 30 years of experience in 1-piece compression contacts, this innovative contact provides full connector performance functionality at the individual contact level. This allows individual contacts to be placed in any location or position on a PCB.
The high-strength copper alloy contact is gold-plated to maximize reliability and signal integrity. The current offering includes three contacts covering heights from 1.00mm to 3.75mm. Contacts are supplied in tape and reel for easy SMT assembly.
