Manager, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis
Location: Greenville, SC
Job Description:
Coordination and consolidation of the Annual Operating Plan, financial forecasting and overall planning processes across the entire KYOCERA AVX organization. This position will manage and establish processes and timelines for the completion of financial forecasts, play an integral part in the consolidation and analysis of forecasts as well as overall financial results and take a leadership role in the communication of financial insights across the divisions as well as with the broader headquarters finance leadership team.Reports To:
Director, Corporate ControllerDuties and Responsibilities:
- Own FP&A planning cycle including annual operating plan and monthly/quarterly forecasts.
- Develop an outstanding Global FP&A team by providing guidance, training, and mentorship to a diverse team of finance professionals.
- Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
- Partners with Division Controllers and Accounting Team to understand actual results to plan and supply actionable root cause variance analysis.
- Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Prepares reports and presentations for meetings with Board of Directors, Executives, and other interested parties.
- Develops business specific KPI’s, metrics, and dashboards to clearly explain business results including monthly bookings, sales and profit.
- Partner with various departments at all levels of the organization to provide insightful data driven recommendations on a wide variety of initiatives such as business development, new product introductions (NPI) and corporate development.
- Supervises direct efforts of financial analysts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field is required. Advanced degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Manufacturing or Distribution is preferred
- Must have ability to perceive inter-relationships of business activities and systems. Must be able to interface with all levels of management.
- Supervises and directs subordinates.
