Data subjects refer to those individuals which KYOCERA AVX collects personal data. Employees of KYOCERA AVX are data subjects, and so are the customers we work with. As data subjects, you are provided certain rights under the GDPR – (i) the right to be informed; (ii) the right to access; (iii) the right to rectify (correct) your information; (iv) the right to be forgotten (data erasure); the right to restrict processing; (v) the right to data portability; and (vi) the right to object (opt-out) to data processing.
Additionally, you have the right to ask us whether or not we are using or storing your information. You can ask us for copies of your personal information. This is called the right of access, or Data Subject Access Request (DSAR).
We provide the form below, Request to Data Subject Rights to make such a request.
After submission, we will acknowledge receipt of your request within five (5) days. The GDPR requires that KYOCERA AVX must respond to a DSAR within one month (30 days) of receiving a valid request. There is no charge to make a DSAR. However, the GDPR allows KYOCERA AVX to charge a “reasonable fee” when a request is obviously groundless or excessive. As a requestor, if you are not satisfied with the response, the Corporate DPO will manage your complaint. If you are still dissatisfied with the outcome, you may file a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
